How we compare eSIMs

Every fact on a provider page links to the provider’s own website, with the date we checked it. We don’t give star ratings or scores.

Plan prices on destination pages are copied from each provider’s public destination page on the date shown, in the currency it displayed. We don’t guess prices we couldn’t see.

The data calculator uses published figures from Netflix, Spotify and Zoom, plus your own phone’s usage, so you can see where each number comes from.

eSIM prices and plan lengths change often, and some providers show different prices by country or app. Always check the final price at checkout, and check your phone is unlocked and supports eSIM.

How tools are chosen

Each listing links to the official website, states its licence and whether it is fully open source, free but proprietary, or free with paid tiers, and shows stars, last-commit date and licence from the project's public repository where it has one. Top Pick listings are clearly labelled and never change the facts shown about a tool.
